Juici Patties — Jamaica's beloved fast-food chain known for its flaky, buttery patties — has officially landed in Port St. Lucie. The grand opening hit Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., and it's the company's first location anywhere on the Treasure Coast.

You'll find it at 3213 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd. The opening went big: free patty giveaways, golden tickets with prizes worth up to $100, merchandise, fresh coconut water served straight from the coconut, and live entertainment to pull a crowd.

So what's a Juici patty? Co-owner Earl Simpson Jr. put it simply: "Think of a burger in a flaky, buttery, warm crust." The menu runs four main varieties — spicy beef, mild, curry chicken, and spinach — and you can have them on cocoa bread, a buttery Jamaican staple, with add-ons like cheese, bacon, and avocado.

To drink, they've got Coca-Cola products, fresh juices, and sorrel — a hibiscus drink with no added sugar that anyone who grew up around Caribbean kitchens will recognize.

Here's the part that says a lot about PSL: the chain skipped the obvious South Florida markets to plant its flag here. Store manager Randel Turner pointed to why — "In Port St. Lucie, there's a large contingent of Jamaican population." The owners deliberately chose this overlooked market instead of Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Juici Patties started in Jamaica back in the 1980s and was one of the first Jamaican brands exported to the United States. It now runs more than a dozen Florida locations, with the nearest previously being on Military Trail in West Palm Beach.

For the 772, it means authentic Jamaican flavor without the drive south. If you've never had a proper Jamaican patty, this is your sign.
